2. Your digital purchase
You buy a personal-use licence for the Canva template or collection described on the product page. We deliver a downloadable PDF containing one or more Canva template links and instructions, plus any additional files expressly listed with the product, such as SVG cut files. Open a template link to create your own copy in Canva, edit the supported elements, then export and print your finished design.
No physical item will be shipped. Printed stationery, frames, decorations, a hosted event website, custom design services and personal editing assistance are not included unless the listing expressly includes them. Product photographs may show styling or printed examples that are not included.
Review the design, included files, sizes, editable elements, price, currency and software requirements before ordering. Any specific access duration or delivery restriction must be stated before payment. A standard editable template is not automatically a bespoke product merely because you later personalise it.
3. Canva & compatibility
A Canva account, an internet connection and a compatible, current web browser or Canva app are needed to edit the templates. A PDF reader is needed to open the delivery file. Canva operates separately from Helena Voile and has its own terms, content licences and privacy policy.
Check the listing for editable fields, dimensions and any Canva Pro requirements. A free Canva account is sufficient only where the listing expressly says so. Paid Canva features, stock content, printing or subscriptions are not included in our price unless expressly stated. We are an independent seller and are not endorsed by Canva.
Your changes in Canva are stored with Canva, not in a Helena Voile design editor. Keep a copy of the delivery PDF and your finished exports. Check spelling, dates, dimensions, margins and colour on a proof before arranging a full print run. Printer output and screen colours can differ; this does not remove rights where a file itself is defective or misdescribed.
4. Orders & payment
Purchases are one-time payments unless the listing clearly says otherwise. There is no automatic renewal. The total payable amount, currency and any applicable taxes or other charges must be shown before you confirm payment. You can correct your product choice before placing an order.
When checkout is available, payment is processed through Stripe’s hosted checkout. A purchase is accepted when payment is confirmed and we issue its order confirmation. A pending or unsuccessful payment does not give access to the paid PDF. We do not receive or store your full card number or card security code. Never email us card details.
5. Receiving your PDF
After confirmed payment, your order page provides the PDF download. Payment methods with delayed confirmation may take longer. If the page still shows a pending payment, wait for confirmation rather than paying again.
The protected download link may expire for security reasons. Expiry of that link does not erase your purchase or your statutory rights: contact us with your order details if you need help recovering access. Save the PDF once downloaded and keep your order confirmation. We do not promise perpetual hosting or future Canva functionality beyond any express commitment in your listing and applicable consumer law.
If a file or Canva template link is unavailable or incorrect, contact contact@helenavoile.com. We will address the problem under our refund policy and applicable law. A third-party platform change does not automatically remove our responsibility for a product we supplied.
6. Licence, cancellation & product problems
The template licence forms part of your purchase terms. Statutory cancellation and faulty-content rights are explained in our refunds & cancellations policy. Downloading or opening a PDF alone does not create a valid waiver of consumer rights.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or removes mandatory consumer protection. These terms do not limit remedies for missing, faulty or materially misdescribed content.
7. Applicable law & complaints
Portuguese law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer habitually resident elsewhere, you retain the mandatory protections and court rights that applicable law gives you. We do not require consumers to bring claims exclusively in Portugal.

If a problem remains unresolved, you can use Portugal’s electronic complaints book (Livro de Reclamações). The Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo da Região Autónoma da Madeira (CACC RAM) is the regional alternative dispute resolution body, subject to its jurisdiction and applicable rules. You may also consult the EU consumer redress directory. These options do not restrict your right to go to court or any mandatory dispute resolution rights.
8. Changes to these terms
The version supplied with your order applies to that purchase. Future updates do not retrospectively remove acquired rights. Our privacy notice explains how information is handled and is not a request to waive data protection rights.
